The HPHS Hall of Fame committee is pleased to announce the induction of the Class of 2008 into the Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008.

There will be a reception in the Student Commons beginning at 5:00pm, followed by an induction ceremony at 5:30pm. The Class of 2008 will be announced to the crowd before the start of the boys basketball game against Deerfield High School at 7:15pm in the Exhibition Gym. The public is welcome to attend. The 2008 Inductees include George Hiller, state swim champion, Class of 1946; George Hiller, Henry Date and Steve Pollak, state medley relay team champions, Class of 1946; Steve Borenstein, basketball stand-out, Class of 1971; and Bradley Kramer, state tennis singles champion, Class of 1993. Also honored will be Manuel de la Torre, inducted in 2006 as the 1940 individual state champion in boys golf.
